Do you have a Summer Bucket List?

End the last weeks of summer with a BANG! There are tons of great activities and day dates around the Upstate to check off your summer bucket list to make this summer EPIC. All of these are a short drive from TR! Roll down your windows and take turns listening to your favorite songs as you cruise through a brilliant summer day.

Explore Pisgah National Forest, hiking the Appalachian mountains with mile-high peaks and cascading waterfalls. Be sure to slip and slide down Sliding Rock– a favorite natural mountain waterfall!

Head to Long Shoals Wayside Park in Sunset, SC to try a 0.8-mile out-and-back trail generally considered an easy route. It takes around 19 min to complete. This trail is great for children to hike. Pack a lunch and take your fishing gear to catch some fish while your there!

 

 

Hang out with some goats at Red Clay Soap. The farm is open for farm visits to be scheduled.

Looking for a thrill? Whether you want to challenge the tree based ropes course, fly down the ziplines, or take a walk on the hiking trail down to beautiful South Rabon Creek, Barefoot Acres in Fountain Inn has all that and more! There is also a farm with produce and adorable farm animals like Dolli the Lamb.

Travel back in time to explore the dinosaurs at Upcountry History Museum in Greenville. Spark your child’s imagination and have some fun learning about the history of dinosaurs.

Bring out your inner artist at TR Makers Co. Choose from play dates to summer camps to one time classes. Gather your own group and make your own art date! Plus, you ca purchase a wide variety of projects to take home and do at your own pace.
