Welcome to The Timbers – a new tiny home community located in Laurens, South Carolina.
This gated community has everything you are looking for in your next home. Homes are small, but cleverly designed. On The Timbers fifteen acres you’ll find forty tiny homes with a scenic drive in to your new home. The houses are not smooshed on top of one another and you have space to breathe. Speaking of space, imagine woods and trails, a wildflower garden in season, a creek and shared fire pits. Imagine your neighbors greeting you on your daily morning walk or your early evening stroll.

Will you go for the bedroom with space for a king-sized bed in the Homeplace or the full bathroom design in the Simplicity? Maybe the Mountaintop Cabin’s loft is exactly what you’re looking for. Perhaps you can just imagine yourself enjoying coffee on one of Cedar Haven’s two porches.
Here’s how it works:
You choose your tiny home design. You’ll purchase the home and it will be built for you, set up at The Timbers on your lot and ready for you to move in.
There’s a monthly fee at The Timbers. This covers all of your basic home needs – water, electricity and all of the amenities of living in a gated home community – the shared community spaces, the trails, the fire pits, the future wildflower field.
At The Timbers you’ll have the wide open spaces, the feel of the outdoors surrounding you, a safe and friendly community and all of this without being far away from grocery stores or entertainment or shopping.
Why Laurens, South Carolina?
Laurens is a small Southern town with a close community and several great restaurants for dining and many local shops to explore. In Laurens, you’re not far from Musgrove Mill State Park, Lake Greenwood State Park and Lake Rabun Park.
The Timbers is also only thirty minutes to downtown Greenville – so not far from all Greenville offers too.
