Pumpkin Patch
Get your pumpkins all week long for your Halloween gatherings – and for your front porch decorating.
Pumpkins are sold in front of My Sister’s Store and proceeds are all going to missionaries with Redeemer Presbyterian Church. There are many sizes and shapes and prices to make pumpkins affordable for all of your family!

Halloween Parade at Harvest Market
The last October Harvest Market is all about celebrating Halloween. There will be a costume parade and candy given out. (And grown ups can enjoy the food trucks and the vendors too!)

Beechwood Farms Haunted Hayrides
Beechwood Farms is the perfect fall spot. And they’ve got hayrides for the kids – scary hayrides and less scary hayrides so you can choose what works best for your people.
Visit their Facebook page for all the full details, but hayrides are running nightly on the weekend before Halloween and on Halloween evening. It’s a perfect way to start your Halloween celebrations or wrap up your Halloween plans.

Bat Count at Sunrift
Remember the bat houses at Sunrift?
Bring your family out Friday night, October 27 for the Second Annual Halloween Bat Count. The bats will give you a pretty impressive display around sunset. You’ll be able to learn why bats matter and help take part in both observing and counting the bats. There’ll be a bonfire, party bags, snacks and a raffle to win your very own bat box.

Halloween Boo-ery Monster Mash
It’s become an annual event and it’s loads of fun. Swamp Rabbit Brewery hosts a Monster Mash. There will be tasty treats from Ellada Kouzina and Swamp Fox Donuts, wickedly good entertainment by DJ Austyn with Premiere Party entertainment and of course, beer on tap.
Don’t forget to come dressed in a costume because there’s a contest – you can dress to impress or dress to scare everyone to death.

Come out Sunday night to Travelers Rest United Methodist Church – the church on the trail – and dress up and go trunk or treating.
Guests are also encouraged to bring non perishable food items for donation to the North Greenville Crisis Ministry.

Harvest Festival at Upcountry Church
Come on out to Upcountry Church for a free community Harvest Festival.
There will be carnival games for the kids, a costume contest, prizes and face painting. There will also be games for the adults and food for purchase.

Trick or Treat at Farmhouse Tacos
Calling all ghosts and goblins! Before you hit the streets and the neighborhoods to gather all that Halloween loot, better get some dinner in ya’. And why not a taco? In fact, if you’re under ten years old AND you are wearing your costume, Farmhouse Tacos will give you that taco for free! (Of course kids need to be accompanied by an adult.)
The Farmhouse Tacos staff will all be dressed in costume too – can’t wait to see the creativity there! And – they’ll be handing out treats.

For an easy, one stop spot, for trick or treating with your kids, visit North Greenville University. The female resident halls will have their doors and halls all decked out and you walk with your kids through the open hallways and dorms.

Open Mic on the Trail
If Tuesdays are already about Open Mic Night for you, then you’ll love the costumed twist. And if you’ve never attended an Open Mic Night before, then this would be a great one for your introduction to the music scene in TR.
There will be a delicious spread and a costume contest. The three categories for the contest are: Most Authentic (dress as a fictional or a non-fictional character), Most Vintage (pick a time period), and Most Creative.

Upcountry Halloween Bash
Over at The Grove there’s a big bash for the night of Halloween. You can come before you trick or treat with the kids, or head over after. Or do both.
The party will be a costume party and will be focused on Day of the Dead style celebrations. It’s a family friendly event with two bands, a costume contest, food and a cash bar. Admission is free and it’s sure to be loads of fun.
